Shinagawa supplies refractories suitable for the most arduous of steel making environments. Applications include BOS vessels, Steel & Torpedo Ladles, Blast Furnace Troughs and Electric Arc Furnaces.
Shinagawa has a range of products that are used in both primary and secondary aluminium. The range of SHIRAL® brick are used in the anode bake furnace together with paving brick applications in the ingot mill and potrooms. Included in the product range are low cement SHIRACRETE® products that are formulated to resist wetting with molten aluminium.
Shinagawa has developed a range of SHIRAGUN® low cement gunning products that are used extensively in fluid bed calciners. These products have been formulated to provide optimum abrasion and thermal shock resistance.
NOVACRETE® is a shotcrete product range that provides significant installation benefits and is used in the cement industry. Shinagawa also provide a range of SHIRAL® and Magnesia Spinel brick from accredited suppliers.
During the reline of glass tanks SHIRAL® and Zircon (ZBK-L) brick and SHIRACAST® castables are installed as part of the reline.
SHIRACRETE® and SHIRACAST® products are used extensively in launder and ladle metal transfer vessels. High quality Magnesite and Magnesia Chrome brick products used in furnaces are also available.
